Working To Empower The Latinx Community!

The goals and objectives of the San Francisco Latinx Democratic Club are to promote and encourage Latinx candidates to empower the Latinx community in areas of Immigration and Social Justice Issues such as Economic Development for Latino Jobs and Businesses, for Quality of Life Issues relative to violence prevention, youth and education. In addition, support other candidates that will advocate and promote issues and legislation that further the Latino Agenda. To actively motivate Latinos to understand the issues, vote, and get involved through advocacy.



Precinct Walk for Eric Guerra on Sat., April 4

As many of you know Eric Guerra is running for city council in Sacramento and if elected will be the first Latino to hold a seat on the council in a very long time. This election is slated to be very close as turnout is expected to be historically low. Every vote we turn out will help Eric win!

SFLDC Endorses "Solving the Affordable Housing Crisis: A Town Hall Meeting" on March 28

Rents in San Francisco and in the neighborhood are going through the roof. Speculators are evicting long-time residents so they can raise rents, flip homes and sell off apartments for a quick buck. Increasingly, working families can't afford to live here, and developers are building only for the 1 percent.

SFLDC Political Action Committee Meeting - March 26, 2015

The inaugural Political Action Committee meeting is tonight at 6 pm at 1950 Mission St. 

The Political Action Committee will focus on monitoring political trends, organizing the endorsement process, initiating LDC actions on issues, and coordinating voter registration and engagement efforts.
