Dear Latino Democratic Club Members and Allies,
First off Happy New Year! I trust you all had a good Holiday Season. Thank you for joining us for our Holiday Mixer. We very much look forward to 2015. As a matter of fact, we haven't stopped working!
The SFLDC's mission is 'Latino Empowerment'. Our struggle also includes helping other communities with which we share solidarity. As such, we are leading a grassroots effort to fight for equity and inclusion into the California Democratic Party power structure. Every two years, local Democrats meet in each of California's 80 Assembly districts to elect delegates to the next two CA Democratic Party conventions. Currently there are only 3 Latinos out of 24 total Delegates, which is less than equitable. This SATURDAY and SUNDAY we have a chance to push back and make sure our voices are heard and equality is served. So please, come out to vote and/or volunteer this weekend to elect our slate of candidates.

The registration window is for 2 hours only, so get there early! You can vote and leave or stay to hear from all the candidates.
