Jane has dedicated her life work to economic justice, protecting immigrant communities, increasing affordable housing, and improving public education. She is the one who led the fight for making free city college happen as well as minimum wage and ban the box.
Her story is like many of us, raised by immigrant parents, living in a small apartment with multiple generations. If you don't know her yet, come and meet her!
