Endorsement season is upon us and SFLDC has already made a few early endorsements in the upcoming November 2015 Election.
At our June General Body Meeting the club early endorsed Wendy Aragon for Community College Board. Wendy's official campaign kick-off will be Wed, July 29 at Novela, 662 Mission Street btw New Montgomery/3rd Street. The event starts at 6:00pm and you can RSVP here. You can also make contributions or sign up to volunteer for Wendy's campaign on her website.
At our July General Body Meeting the club endorsed Ross Mirkarimi for Sheriff. You can make contributions or sign up to volunteer for Ross's campaign on his website.
We will vote on endorsements for the remainder of the November 2015 ballot at our August General Body Meeting on August 19 at 518 Valencia Street. You can RSVP here. Everyone is welcome to the meeting, but to vote you must be a member in good standing with dues paid!
