Please join SFLDC and other supporters of the Kim Alvarenga for D11 campaign at the Wednesday, Sept. 28th meeting of the San Francisco Democratic County Central Committee (DCCC). Certain members of the committee are trying to get her opponent the endorsement of the SF Democratic Party again. The decision was already made at the August meeting where there was a split vote so neither candidate got the endorsement. Her opponent's supporters are requesting that it be put on the agenda this Wednesday. They want a second bite at the apple.
Please come to support Kimberly and testify against this move. We really need to pack the house!
The DCCC meeting starts at 7:00 PM, at 455 Golden Gate Avenue in the Milton Marks Auditorium of the State Office Building.
As you know, Kimberly is our endorsed candidate for Supervisor in District 11. This is a key moment for her campaign and could mean winning or losing. The SF Democratic Party endorsement means a lot. Having a progressive, pro-labor majority that fights for affordable housing at the Board of Supervisors is important!
